Interest rates on 52-week Treasury bills fell in Thursday`s auction to the lowest level in two months. The Treasury Department sold $9 billion of the bills at an average discount rate of 7.48 percent, down from 7.72 percent at the last auction, Aug. 25. The rates were the lowest since 1-year bills sold for 7.40 percent July 28.
