As every Sports Illustrated reader knows, the annual February swimsuit issue is the mag`s best seller. Now NBC is getting into the act with
”Swimsuits,” a two-hour romantic comedy, to be broadcast Feb. 19.
Cyd Charisse, in her TV-movie debut, plays the owner of a fashionable swimsuit line that launches a national campaign to find the perfect model.
Strutting their stuff in the competition are Catherine Oxenberg of
”Dynasty,” Nia Peeples of ”Fame” and ”Top of the Pops,” Ally Walker of ”Santa Barbara” and Cheryl Pollack of ”Date with an Angel.”
