Gov. James Thompson`s wife, Jayne, was listed in good condition Tuesday evening at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where she was admitted earlier in the day for ”observation and tests,” officials of the hospital and the governor`s office said.
Susan Birk, a hospital spokeswoman, said the hospital had no further information about Mrs. Thompson, 42. The governor canceled a trip to Springfield to be with his wife Tuesday, said Vincent Petrini, a spokesman for the governor.
