Dixmoor police asked for help Wednesday in their investigation of the slaying of a California man whose body was found in weeds off a road.
Council Jackson, 39, of Sacramento, was pronounced dead at 3:25 a.m. Tuesday in Ingalls Memorial Hospital, Harvey, according to hospital spokeswoman Debbie Stelter.
According to the Cook County medical examiner`s office, Jackson died of multiple gunshot wounds. Police said Jackson also used the name Council Lamar Beacher and the street name of ”C.J.”
His body was seen by a motorist around 12:15 a.m. Tuesday at 145th and Wood Streets in Dixmoor.
