The second annual Grape Lakes Food and Wine Festival is being held in Milwaukee now through Saturday .
Highlights include a collector`s tasting and auction conducted by Michael Davis of Christie`s today, a tasting of more than 50 wines with food accompaniments from local shops on May 19 and a lunch and a series of seminars during the day of the 20th. Following a champagne reception the evening of the 20th, wine and food dinners will be held at a dozen Milwaukee restaurants.
A five-kilometer ”grape stomp” walk/run on the 17th is the opening event for the festival, which benefits the Acquistion Fund for the Milwaukee Art Museum.

May 18: Collector`s Tasting and Auction, 6:30 p.m., Milwaukee Art Museum, $50.
May 19: Grand Tasting, 7:30 p.m., Milwaukee Art Museum, $15.
May 20: Lunch, 11:30 a.m. and seminars, 1 to 4 p.m., at Pfister; $25 for lunch and seminars, $15 for seminars only. Dinners, 8:30 p.m., at John Bryon`s, English Room, Fleur de Lis, Grenadier`s, Marangelli`s, Ocean Club
(each $100); Khyber, Nance`s, Old Town Serbian Gourmet (each $75); Bangkok Orchid, City Lights Cafe, DKC`s Armadillo Grill (each $50).
