Whitman Corp. said its Hussmann Corp. unit bought some of the assets of Email Ltd.`s commercial equipment division in Sydney, Australia, for $3.4 million. Hussmann will operate in Australia under the name Hussmann Australia Pty. It will make supermarket showcases, refrigeration systems, and other equipment for supermarkets, convenience stores and related markets.
