Written before her husband`s recent death, Morgan`s dedication of this striking album reads in part: ”Thanks to my husband, Keith Whitley, for teaching me how to sing with heart and giving me reason to.” Morgan has been impressing a lot of discriminating observers of talent for several years now- most notably Dolly Parton, who, without ever having talked to Morgan about it, has been touting her as superstar material in Nashville and Los Angeles. This isn`t a glitzy and gimmicky LP, it`s just nine fine, well-produced songs and a compelling performer who sings from the heart all the way to her toes.
