There are surprisingly few Beatles` musical performances captured on video. Here are some noteworthy titles.
– ”The Beatles Live” (1964). A 20-minute concert culled from a BBC-TV special called ”Around the Beatles.”
– ”Ready, Steady, Go: Vols. 1-3” (1964-65). Performances drawn from the popular British TV series.
– ”The Beatles at Shea Stadium” (1965). The Beatles` August, 1965, performance in Flushing, N.Y.
– ”John Lennon Live in New York” (1972). A film of Lennon`s ”One on One” benefit concert in August, 1972.
– ”John Lennon and the Plastic Ono Band” (1969). The ”Live Peace in Toronto” concert includes Eric Clapton, Jerry Lee Lewis and Bo Diddley.
– ”Rockshow-Paul McCartney & Wings” (1976). The ”Wings Over America”
tour.
– ”Concert For Bangla Desh” (1971). George recruited Ringo, Bob Dylan and Eric Clapton for this historic benefit.
– ”Blue Suede Shoes” (1985). George and Ringo in a tribute to Carl Perkins.
– ”Compleat Beatles” (1982). Follows the group from Liverpool to their break-up.
