She stood there like a vision of beauty with eyes that sparkled like the stars at night, teeth that gleamed like a newly waxed car and hair as big as the state of Texas.

This was no ordinary Venus; it was Miss Yvonne, ”The Most Beautiful Woman in Puppet Land.” The objet d`amour of many ”Pee-wee`s Playhouse” fans was graciously, and glamorously, signing autographs at Goodies, 3631 N. Halsted St.

The divine Miss Yvonne was visiting from Hollywood to judge the Pee-wee Herman look-alike contest, part of Lincoln Park Zoo`s Zoo Fest `89. About a dozen pint-sized Pee-wees competed (and a couple of mini Miss Yvonne`s, too), but it was Timmy Coletti, 1/2, of Chicago, who won her heart-and first place.

Fans of all ages were charmed by her presence. Could there be another celebrity scent around the corner?

Eau de Yvonne, perhaps?
