Howard Hesseman from ”Head of the Class” heads up Friday`s Labor Day Parade. Talk about an odd couple: Hesseman, who once played disc jockey Dr. Johnny Fever, teams with Secretary of Labor Elizabeth Dole as the parade`s grand marshals. Mayor Richard M. Daley, Sen. Alan Dixon and a plethora of other politicians also will march.
The parade kicks off at noon at Wacker Drive and Dearborn Street, then heads south on Dearborn to Congress Parkway.
