Another in the herd of fine young traditional country vocalists, McQuaig shows impressive talent with both his voice, which exhibits all the skills of an adept honky-tonk singer, and a pen working very promisingly in the same vein. The quality thins some on Side 2, but Side 1 is enough to serve notice that this handsome young Mississippian is apt to be seen a lot around Nashville in the future.
