Gina Woods Curtis, 26, office manager for MIS Computer, Chicago, also was a performer and choreographer for musicals in Evanston and the Rogers Park neighborhood.
Services for Mrs. Curtis, a Rogers Park resident, will be held Wednesday in Memphis, Tenn. She died Saturday in Edgewater Hospital, following a heart attack at home.
”She was open, self-motivated and very friendly,” said Richard Westric, for whom she worked. ”Gina was very bright and had a lot of common sense. We could really count on her.”
Mrs. Curtis came to Chicago from Memphis and joined the firm, which sells computer equipment, a year ago. She recently represented it during PC Expo at McCormick Place.
She had studied dance since she was 5. Mrs. Curtis sang and danced in several musicals and choreographed a local performance of ”The Music Man.”
Survivors include her parents, John and Joan Woods and a brother.
