Aliens from outer space have landed on Earth and taken over the college lecture circuit. Well, not quite. But nuclear physicist Stanton Friedman
(pictured here with some top-secret UFO reports) has traveled to more than 600 schools, attempting to show that UFOs aren`t just for the movies and supermarket rags. This afternoon Friedman will speak at the South Suburban College in South Holland as part of the students` Phenomenon Month. The lecture, ”Flying Saucers Are Real,” will include about 80 slides and a question and answer period. The school invited Friedman because of his national reputation and their students` curiosity on the subject. ”It`s just the possibility that there may be something out there,” said John Coffin, director of student development at the college. Friedman has been a guest on
”Nightline,” ”Merv Griffin” and that educational hotbed, ”Late Night with David Letterman.”
