Former Milwaukee Bucks star Sidney Moncrief has informed the Dallas Mavericks that he has decided not to join the team`s television broadcast team this season.
Moncrief made the decision after watching Saturday night`s game between Dallas and Seattle from a production truck and undergoing a crash course in television terminology and techniques.
Allen Stone, the Mavericks` director of broadcast and communications said Moncrief ”questioned whether he wanted to travel, and he wasn`t sure that he would be that good.”
