Her father is president of Hillman`s Inc., which owns and operates Stop and Shop food stores. Her mother is a member of the board of directors of Congregation Sinai.
The bride`s paternal grandparents are Gardner and Hanchen Stern. Her grandfather is chairman of the board of Hillman`s Inc.
The future bridegroom, a Georgetown University graduate, is a group manager for Prudential Insurance Co., Chicago.
His mother is a nurse at Evanston Hospital.
An April wedding in Chicago is planned.
