A Loop savings and loan was robbed of $3,610 Wednesday afternoon, police said. A man approached a teller at Citicorp Savings, 233 N. Michigan Ave., at about 1:35 p.m., according to Central District Capt. Arthur Wirkus. The man, who was carrying a bag, asked the teller for change for $10, then said he had a gun up his sleeve, Wirkus said. ”He said, `Make sure you put the $100`s in there,` ” according to Wirkus. The man fled with the money in the bag, Wirkus said. Police had no suspects, he said.
