It is regrettable that Barbara Brotman`s article on the Pullen-Mulligan race had to be peppered with the media`s pro-abortion rhetoric. Thirty-one votes do not prove ”that most voters do not share the views of Pullen.” The statement that ”her district is overwhelmingly pro-choice” is absurd. The election results prove that the country is split almost 50-50 on the issue.

If we had a responsible media that kept their editorial comments and slantings for the editorial page, voters might be able to make up their own minds.
