Sixty bronze flower vases were reported stolen over the weekend from graves at Mt. Emblem Cemetery, Grand Avenue and County Line Road, Elmhurst, police said Tuesday. Police said the vases, valued at $75 each, with a total of $4,500, probably were taken for their scrap value.
Police also reported damage totaling $3,696 to the roof of the cemetery administration building, a windshield to a service vehicle and two gasoline pumps.
