Sara Lee Corp. won two lawsuits involving trademark infringements by Berkshire Fashions Inc. Chicago-based Sara Lee said the U.S. Court of Appeals in New York affirmed a decision prohibiting further sales by Berkshire of Energizer gloves and slippers, finding Berkshire to have infringed Sara Lee`s Sheer Energy mark. Berkshire was found in contempt of court for using a double diamond design and wrist strip that were ”deliberately and impermissibly close to” Aris Isotoner`s trademark on Isotoner gloves.
