NYSE appointees The New York Stock Exchange named John S. Chalsty, president and chief executive of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Inc., to a one year term as one of two NYSE vice chairmen, replacing William A. Schreyer of Merrill Lynch & Co. Donald Stone, senior partner of the NYSE specialist firm of Lasker, Stone & Stern, was re-elected to a one-year term as the other vice chairman.
