Philip M. Sullivan, 59, a partner in the Elmhurst law firm of Nelson and Sullivan, died Monday while on a fishing trip near Cleveland. Mr. Sullivan, a resident of Elmhurst, was an alderman there from 1963 through 1967. He was a member of the board of directors of A&M Insulating Company, Berkeley, and Hi- Temp Products, Milan, Tenn. Mr. Sullivan, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Law, retired from the Navy as a lieutenant. He is survived by his wife, Malverne; his father, John F.; three daughters, Susan Geis, Mary Stevermer and Judith Broomfield; a son, Philip M. Jr.; three brothers; two sisters; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 S. York St., Elmhurst. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Friday in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 134 Arthur St., Elmhurst.
