Jerome J. O`Malley, 57, a news editor for WLS-TV, died Thursday in the hospice at Alexian Brothers Medical Center, Elk Grove Village. Mr. O`Malley, a resident of Elk Grove Village, worked for the station for 29 years. Survivors include his wife, Kathleen; two sons, Kevin and Michael; his mother, Gertrude Wagner; four sisters; and a brother. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday in Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Rd., Elk Grove Village. Services will follow.
