A deep disgust is festering in the American soul over the fact that we are being ruled by a government with quarters in a milieu billed as the murder, drug and low-life capital of the U.S.A.
The quicker such plans are drafted and adopted, the better for the nation as a whole.
The District of Columbia can then revert to being part of Maryland. Important government buildings and memorials can be preserved as a national park.
