CBI Industries Inc. posted a 66 percent gain in second-quarter net income to $12.5 million, or 55 cents a share, from $7.5 million, or 30 cents a share, a year earlier. Revenues slipped to $375.2 million from $376.3 million. For the first half, net income climbed 93 percent, to $28.2 million, or $1.27 a share, from $14.6 million, or 58 cents a share, on a 3 percent gain in revenues to $749.8 million.
