Your statement that too much has been made of Pete Rose`s fall from grace (July 22) struck a sadly ironic note.
Rose`s actions most directly affected only himself. His willingness to accept responsibility for his misdeeds is inspiring.
I can only wish that Charles Keating, whose misdeeds at Lincoln Savings and Loan will directly affect every single American taxpayer for years to come, had the same grace and dignity.
