Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
This is for the 52,999 other people who were, for three or more hours, likewise squished up against the walls of Soldier Field on the evening of July 29 for the Paul McCartney concert.
We, the cattle, would like to say: Who made the decision to herd 53,000 people through just four gates, at the rate of 20 per minute, and who is going to reimburse those people who didn`t make it through the doors on time, thus missing the first part of McCartney`s concert?
The Chicago Park District is either inept or stupid, and it has not heard the last of this. We paid our $30-plus for tickets, only to be treated like cattle marching to the slaughter.
Weren`t we supposed to learn some kind of lesson from the notorious Who concert?
