I found myself agreeing with most of Jon Margolis` column with reference to the trivial irritants that seem to take precedence today-but please do not compare the Bush era with the Kennedy era.

Let`s get off this ”Camelot” kick once and for all. Kennedy was not a moral man, and it was a period of shame-not pride. Remember the Bay of Pigs? I also find it very odd that our so-called vaunted free press (the tell-it-like- it-is guys) saw fit to ignore the Kennedy sexual excesses during his campaign. They had to be aware of them. What happened to the ”public`s right to know”? What made his sexual excesses sacrosanct? Now if a politician even looks at another woman, he is suspect.
