Eugene ”Bob” Preuser, 62, a bricklayer and contractor formerly of Chicago Ridge, died Thursday in a nursing home in Whitney, Texas. Before moving to Texas in 1970 he was active in scouting and as a volunteer with the Chicago Ridge Fire Department. Survivors include his wife, Mary Alice; three sons, George, Eugene II and William; a daughter, Sheree Griener; his mother, Amanda; a sister; a brother; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren;
Services will be held Monday in Whitney.
