The Latino Committee on the Media will hold its fifth annual conference,
”Latino Perspectives: The Value of Diversity in the Media,” from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Oct. 3, at the Westin Hotel, 909 N. Michigan Ave.
The conference will include an evaluation of the state of Hispanics in the media, acquaint Hispanic community-based organizations with the inner workings of the Chicago media and introduce media personnel to the Hispanic community and its leaders. The conference will also have a workshop on reaching Hispanic markets.
