Violet E. Kennedy, 88, died Friday in Columbus Hospital. Mrs. Kennedy was born in Chicago and most recently resided on the Gold Coast. Survivors include a daughter, Catherine Havey; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 1035 N. Dearborn St. Mass will be said at 9:30 a.m. Monday in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1415 North Park Ave.
