About 1,000 Commonwealth Edison customers in the Glencoe-Highland Park area were without power for five hours Sunday after a tree limb fell and downed an electric line, said Edison spokesman Dale Wilson. The power was out from 8 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., he said. Power was restored to more then 900 customers by switching to another line, Wilson said.
