I`m appalled at the media coverage of the young suburban boy who is trying to get away with knowingly purchasing a $1,200 baseball card for $12. The fact that the boy`s father wants to encourage his dishonesty, thereby robbing the storekeeper, is pathetic enough, but for the local media to make this boy into a ”folk hero” of sorts is truly revolting. I see no innocence in his young face as he admits on camera that he saw that the price was $1,200.
