– Cesare Christian, Marshall-The 6-foot-3-inch junior had 12 points, eight rebounds and three steals Sunday as Marshall beat Westinghouse 58-38 for the Chicago Public League title.
– Cliff Floyd, Thornwood-The 6-4 senior center had 19 points and 17 rebounds as Thornwood beat St. Francis de Sales for the Thornridge sectional title.
– Rick Hielscher, New Trier-The 6-9 senior center had 29 points and 12 rebounds to lead New Trier past Gordon Tech for the Niles West sectional title.
– Lamarr Justice, Batavia-The senior guard scored 17 points Friday to lead Batavia to a 62-48 upset of West Aurora in the West Aurora sectional final.
– Torrey Lewis, Hillcrest-The 6-5 center had 21 points and nine rebounds to spark Hillcrest past Bloom 91-46 Friday for the Hinsdale Central sectional title.

– Erika Chesney, Downers Grove North-She won the mile and two mile at Saturday`s Bloom Invitational, leading Downers North to the title.
– Carlton Clark, Rich Central-He won the 440 and long jump in the SICA Invitational.
– Nicole Horyn, West Chicago-The senior won the 880 and the mile at the Fenton Invitational.
– Jonathan Jordan, Bloom-He won the triple jump and long jump in Friday`s Phillips Relays at Evanston.
