Iraq occupied Kuwait for 7 months. President Bush rallied many countries and sent 500,000 American troops to end that occupation.
Israel has occupied the West Bank and Gaza for 24 years. Bush sent Secretary Baker to cajole and plead with Israel just to talk to the Palestinians, much less end their occupation, and even that the Israeli government refused to do.
If this is Mr. Bush`s vision of his so-called ”new world order,” the world is really in for a big disappointment.
