Japan has decided to lift all remaining sanctions against South Africa and set up full diplomatic relations after the Group of 7 London summit later this month, according to Yomiuri Shimbun, the country`s top-selling newspaper. But a Foreign Ministry official said no decision had been made. Last month the Japanese cabinet announced an end to curbs on tourism and other exchanges with South Africa but retained economic sanctions until Pretoria finished dismantling apartheid.
