On July 15, the Chicago Public Library will end library services at the Cultural Center, 78 E. Washington St.
Library departments at the Cultural Center will begin relocating to the new Harold Washington Library Center, 400 S. State St., and will resume services on Oct. 7, the first day of service at the Harold Washington Library Center.
The Cultural Center building will be opened to the public on a limited basis for programs sponsored by the City`s Department of Cultural Affairs.
