A a 13-year-old South Side girl was listed in critical condition at University of Chicago Hospital Friday evening with a gunshot wound to the abdomen, according to hospital spokeswoman Susan Phillips.
Katrina Hodges was shot once at about 5:30 p.m. in the 6900 block of South Sangamon Street by a youth who had been firing a gun at someone else, said Brighton Park Area Sgt. Thomas White.
White said Hodges was a bystander in the shooting. A 15-year-old was arrested in the shooting.
