I`m sure the abbreviation ”PC” meaning ”personal computer” is a much older usage than ”PC” meaning ”political correctness.”
As an active enthusiast for the former, I strongly resent the abbreviation`s takeover by the latter.
On the other hand, I can believe the Politically Correct have been so distracted for the past 10 years that they never noticed the Personal Computer as a mainstream event worthy of their attention.
Clarence Page discussed his forum on political correctness on Sept. 11, ignoring personal computers entirely. It`s just gone too far when CP can`t keep his PC`s straight.
Other than that, his column was a pleasure to read and re-read.
