Deal off: Gendex Corp., the Des Plaines-based maker of X-ray and dental equipment, terminated, after an investigation, plans to acquire Transworld X- ray Corp., a privately held, Charlotte, N.C.-based company. Gendex had expected the purchase to increase annual revenues by about $15 million.
