I am also a longtime subscriber to the Tribune, as are the writers of the Dec. 19 letter ”Appreciate the wild.” I also love animals and the outdoors. John Husar`s ”Outdoors” is enjoyed by myself and many of my friends. Some of us hunt and some do not, but we all feel his articles are honest, original and informative.
Hunting is enjoyed by millions of normal, decent citizens. Hunting deserves to be covered in this notable paper.
