John Patrick Sammon, 50, an investment banker, died Sunday at the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, Calif. Mr. Sammon, a resident of Carmel, Calif., owned the Galaxy Investment Group in Carmel. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; two daughters, Kristen and Karen; his mother, Marion; two brothers; and a sister. A memorial mass will be said Tuesday at the Carmelite Monastery in California.
