Word`s been floating around for some time now that Michael Jackson`s in search of a new look-a different way to strut his stuff, do his hair, flaunt a changed persona.
Well, he should keep looking.
Anyone who watches cable TV and has caught a glimpse of ”Remember the Time,” Jackson`s most recent release from the ”Dangerous” album, can see that there`s nothing new-or dramatic, or sleek, or commanding, or appealing-about his current image.
He does, however, look different.
Even more girlish than in ”Black and White.” He wears a short golden skirt over his skinny black pants teamed with a fancy gold top. But, it`s not the clothes, it`s the straggly hair that`s distracting, baffling.
It`s longer, wavier, occasionally falls across his face. It`s almost as though he`s trying to emulate his icons-Liz Taylor, Dianna Ross -and trying very hard to look like his sister, Janet.
He doesn`t. Besides the obvious, there`s another big difference. Their hair looks clean.
