Robert L. Kleinke, 70, a retired captain for United Airlines, died Thursday at LaGrange Memorial Hospital, LaGrange. Mr. Kleinke served in the Army Air Corps in World War II and then spent 36 years as a commercial pilot. After his retirement, he served as a consultant and adviser for the Air Transport Association in connection with snow removal at O`Hare International Airport. He lived in Western Springs for 42 years. Survivors include his wife, Gloria; a daughter, Bobbette Pulliam; two sons, Jack and Kenneth; and six grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 4920 Caroline Ave., Western Springs.
