The new Gap clothing advertisements proclaim: ”It`s the simplest things that always let you start out right.”
We`d have to agree that a wardrobe filled with the basics, like a great-fitting pair of jeans or a crisp white shirt, is the perfect way to get a good look going. But, from time to time, even the best basics could use a jump start, a fresh approach.
Creativity and a little dare are what it takes.
Example: denim shorts. Fifteen-year-old Megan Twohey, a sophomore at Evanston Township High School, showed us how to stretch the wear-ability out of this summer standard. Simply by adding a way-cool jacket and some unique accessories (is that an eyeball ring?), Twohey`s comfy cutoffs quickly become a versatile basic that deserves year-round attention.
Have a look at what you can do that`s new and cool with the clothes we all take for granted.
