– Parking: A parking ban remains in effect in an area bordered by Wacker Drive, Congress Parkway, Michigan Avenue and Canal Street.
– CTA: The Englewood-Howard-Jackson Park line will continue running on the elevated tracks through downtown. The line`s subway stations are closed. On the Congress-Douglas-O`Hare line, commuters will be bused from the trains at Milwaukee and Division to Loop stops and to the Racine Avenue station on the Congress line. CTA passes will be accepted on Metra trains.
– Metra/Pace: Because of lane closures in Hubbard`s Tunnel, Metra and Pace will increase service to the Loop. Metra will run its normal weekday schedule and make extra runs if needed. Pace will increase service to north and northwest communities, along the Chicago and North Western north and northwest and Milwaukee District North lines; and Route 210. Extra parking will be provided for Metra commuters at the Schaumburg, Medinah, Mars, Edison Park, Park Ridge, Des Plaines and Arlington Park stations. Pace customers can park at major commercial centers served by Pace buses, including Old Orchard Shopping Center, Edens Plaza, Northbrook Court, Woodfield Mall, Arlington Park Racecourse and Randhurst Shopping Center. – Commonwealth Edison: The utility will open a temporary office Monday at Monroe Street and Wabash Avenue. Eleven buildings remain without power: the old Goldblatt`s building, 339 S. State St.; Marshall Field`s Annex, 25 E. Washington St.; Stevens Building, 17 N. State St.; Tucker Building, 30 N. Wabash Ave.; CGO Burlington Building, 547 W. Jackson Blvd.; Chicago Builder`s Building, 226 N. LaSalle St.; De Paul University, 31 E. Jackson Blvd.; LaSalle Building, 1 N. LaSalle St.; Wendt Building, 222 N. LaSalle St.; the old Wieboldt Building, 1 N. State St.; and the Hayworth Building, 29 E. Madison St.
– De Paul University: Classes on the downtown campus will resume Monday morning at 318 W. Adams St. A hot line has been set up at 362-5900.
– Kennedy Expressway: Because of flooding problems with the main drain in the Hubbard`s Cave section of the expressway, two inbound lanes and two outbound lanes will be closed until the drain is emptied.
– City Hall: Will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday.
– County Building: Will open at 8 a.m. Monday.
– State of Illinois Building: Will be open except for lower-level concourse.
– Harold Washington Public Library: Will reopen at 9 a.m. after weekend shutdown for planned power outage.
– Marshall Field`s: The State Street store will reopen at 11 a.m. Monday and close at 6 p.m. The store`s restaurant and lower level will remain closed.
– Carson, Pirie Scott & Co.: Remains closed.
– Disaster assistance: Business owners who wish to apply for federal disaster assistance can call the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Small Business Administration at 800-572-5757.
