– Glenbrook South d. New Trier-George Heckenbach had nine kills and George Duchnowski had 12 service points as Glenbrook South prevailed 15-12, 8-15, 15-0 in the Central Suburban South.
– Naperville Central d. Lake Park-Jaime McLean had 17 kills, Paul Maroni nine, Terry Fallen nine and Gary Wrobel eight as Naperville Central outlasted Lake Park 15-6, 10-15, 15-8.
