We at Miss Porter`s School were amused to be mentioned in connection with a Thelma and Louise T-shirt, but I`m afraid the Tribune has its facts wrong
(Tempo, May 3). Miss Porter`s School is neither in name nor in educational mission a ”finishing school,” as our graduates at top colleges and universities can attest. Surely, the Tribune is aware that finishing schools disappeared decades ago. And as for T-shirts, Miss Porter`s School has seen them all!
