Police arrested Hawkins Tuesday in the 1700 block of South State Street after he was identified as the person who stabbed and seriously injured a 36-year-old man during a fight on a Blue Line train traveling in the 500 block of South LaSalle Street in the Loop, police said.

Hawkins was scheduled to appear at a detention hearing Wednesday.
