The media don`t get it. They keep telling us that Ross Perot refuses to state his positions on the issues, but if one listens to a Perot interview where the commentator is pressing for his views, you will hear a rather cantankerous Perot say, ”I`m not for it or against it. I don`t like it or dislike it, it`s necessary and you have to do it.” That is Perot`s position- he will do whatever is necessary to achieve his goals whatever they are.
Trouble arises in determining who decides what`s necessary and when.
