The Du Page County Forest Preserve Commission is looking into the possible sale of the devastated clubhouse at Maple Meadows golf course, formerly the Brookwood Country Club.
Two years after the district took over the golf course and clubhouse following an acrimonious condemnation suit only to discover $1 million in damage at the clubhouse, the Golf Course Committee voted last week to hire two real estate evaluators to determine if selling the property would be profitable.
